PREAMBLE
We, the members of TUGON, as an arm of the Community Extension Service Office taking part on the mission of St. John Baptist De La Salle, inspired by his vision and ideas as teachers, priests and brother availing on opportunities to build a community with true meaning of volunteerism, to help the people in need not only in financial aspects but also in spiritual aspects, to help in building a community out of love, peace, and understanding with the help of the other members of the Lasallian family, to achieve all these by means of a group to be called TUGON, hereby ordain and establish this constitution.

Name and Seat
The official group shall be known as TUGON an arm of the
Community Extension Service Office
ARTICLE 2
Objectives
Section 1:
To encourage students, faculty, and staff to get involved in social work

Article 4
Boards
Sec 1 TUGON is composed of two committees namely the Coordinators Committee and the Committee Heads which is headed by the Team Coordinators.
Sec 2 The Committee of Coordinators shall:
2.1 The Coordinators Committee is composed of the Team Coordinator, Assistant Team Coordinators, Documentation Head, Finance Head and the CSO Representative
2.2 Assist the Team Coordinator in the execution of the activities
2.3 Assist the team
Coordinators in facilitating the communication between the other members of
TUGON and with other existing clubs in the institution
2.4
Have the following rights:
2.4.1 To comment or give suggestion on the guidelines on whatever activities the organization will be doing
Sec 3 The Committee Heads:
3.1
The Committee Heads are composed of
the 7 composed committees namely The General Committee, Environmental
Committee, Information Committee, Foundation Committee, Issue Advocacy Committee,
Community Organization Committee and Operational Committee which is led by the
Team Coordinator
3.2
Assist the Team Coordinators in
establishing a certain program or activity
3.3
Assist the Team Coordinators in
facilitating the communication between the other members of each committee
3.4
Have the right:
3.4.1 To suggest, comment, or give ideas about the guidelines of an
activity
3.4.2 To give reaction or feedback on such guidelines
Article 5
Responsibilities
Sec 1 Team Coordinator shall:
1.1
Lead the members in attaining the
mission of the organization
1.2
Call and preside over the meeting
1.3
Perform all related functions for
the success of the activity of the organization
Sec 2 Assistant Team Coordinator
shall:
2.1
Assist the Team Coordinator in all
activities especially in decision making
2.2
Perform the duties of the Team
Coordinators if she is not around
2.3
Perform the respective task and
other related tasks assigned by the Team Coordinator
Sec 3 Documentation Head shall:
3.1
Always be present in all meetings
3.2
Prepare all the documentation
needed by the organization
3.3
Perform the respective task and
other related task assigned by the Team Coordinator
Sec 4 Finance Head shall:
4.1
Keep all the records about the fund
and expense of the organization
4.2
Prepare a financial record for
references
4.3
Be responsible for the collection
of funds
4.4
Perform the respective task and
other related tasks assigned by the Team Coordinator
Sec 5 CSO Representative shall:
5.1
Represent the organization in the
CSO meetings
5.2
Perform the respective task and
other related tasks assigned by the Team Coordinator
Sec 6 Committee Heads shall:
6.1
Assist the Team Coordinator in
establishing an activity
6.2
Establish a good relationship
together with his committee members
6.3
Meet their respective members at
least once a month or before the planned activity
Article 6
Term and Vacancy
Sec 1 The term of
the Coordinators and Committee Heads will be from the day of election until the
election for the next school year.
Sec 2 In case there
is vacancy in the position, a special election will be held within 5 days
Article 7
Adviser
Sec 1 Should be an
employee of De La Salle Lipa
Sec 2 Has a
willingness to handle TUGON
Sec 3 Support the
activity of TUGON
Article 8
Funds
Sec 1 The TUGON
members will have personal source of funds
Sec 2 The ILFO will provide a certain amount of funds for TUGON
Article 9
Effectively
This Constitution is effective 2 days after the approval of al the members of the General Committee and the other Committee Heads together with the Officer-in-Charge and the other people concerned.
