CONSTITUTION OF CAMPUS MINISTRY CHOIR

Article I: Name

The student organization shall be called “Campus Ministry Choir”.

Article II: Brief History

The organization was re-organized by Mr. Rainero Recones by the year 2005. New officers were elected from president to treasurer. They held their practices during activity period, 2:30-3:50pm., Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Bahay Dalanginan.

Article III: Objectives

• To expose the organization in the Campus Ministry activities, especially in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist and other Liturgical celebrations in the Campus.
• To teach and inspire other people and fellow students to be active in their respective parishes by sharing their skills and talents.
• To motivate others in the spirit of service.
• To form them as true Lasallian leaders through volunteerism, youth and music ministry.

Article IV: Membership

• The members can be a faculty and students from the Tertiary School.
• He/she must be a Roman Catholic.
• Must have an interest, talents and skills in music such as singing or playing instruments like guitar and keyboard.
• He/she must be endowed with the spirit of service, commitment and responsibility.

Article V: Officers and Responsibilities

Chairman • Coordinates with the adviser about group’s concerns and activities, at the Student Government Office and ILFO office.
• Facilitates in the absence of adviser.
• Over-all leader who shows good example to all members of CMC.

Co-Chairman for Internal Affairs

• Facilitates in the absence of the chairman.
• Helps in conducting the activities within the group and in the implementation of activities.

Co-Chairman for External Affairs

• Coordinates with other club/organization.
• Must have the initiative to organize outside activities and external affairs.

Secretary

• Checks the attendance.
• Conducts the minutes of meeting.
• Coordinates the schedule of practices and meetings.
• Assists and helps the chairman and co-chairman.

Treasurer

• Handles group’s expenses
• Collects group’s fund.

Article VI: Termination and Punishment

• If the member insured unreasonably absences or has incurred 5 consecutive absences will be terminated.
• Negligence in the assigned task.
• Habitual tardiness, three lates shall be equal to 1 absent.
• Attitudinal problem during practices will be subjected to disciplinary actions.

Article VII: Merits and Privileges

• Faithful and qualified members will be recommended to receive “CMC Service Award” in the College Recognition Day.
• He/she can qualify for the “St. Benilde Award” through the recommendation of the Campus Ministry Office.
• Has easily access to the Campus Ministry Office.
• Can be delegated to programs and activities organizes by the Campus Ministry Office.

Article VIII: Amendment

The articles stated are subject to change upon the approval of adviser, officers and members.
