THE PRECAMP

Proceedings:
I. Welcome Remarks
The welcome remarks were delivered by the President of the Lasallian EcoCamp Luzon Chapter, Br. Manuel R. Pajarillo FSC, also President of the host school, De La Salle Lipa.

II. Orientation
~ Mr. Willie Bleza and Dr. Corazon Abansi oriented the participants on the following concerns for the three-day EcoCamp event:

· Program flow per day
· House rules at the site
· Location map presentation

~ Dr. Abansi, as agreed in the meeting prior to the orientation, asked the participants regarding their food preferences and if there were vegetarians among them so that food allocations could be ascertained and finalized with the food provider. As none declared they had food preferences nor special dietary limitations, the group agreed to follow the menu decided at the meeting at DLS Canlubang.
~ Also, Mr. Bleza informed the participants that even as they attend the EcoCamp, the rules and regulations of their respective schools would still aplly to the participants. They would, thus, be expected to behave and cooperate accordingly.
~ He also requested those who require special medical paraphernalia, i.e., those with asthma, etc., to bring these along as the respective first aid school kits would provide only for medication for common ailments.
~ Lastly, he reminded the participants to look into the environmental needs/lapses in their respective environments/schools/universities and to accordingly draft a plan of action to address these. He informed them that the plans of action would be presented on the third day of the EcoCamp.

III. Announcement of Groupings
After the reminders were given, the groupings for the EcoCamp were announced. The participants were to join groupings comprising of representatives from the participating schools. Each group was requested to think of a respective group name and a chant/cheer for the group.

IV. Adjournment
The Pre-camp ended at 5:00 in the afternoon.
