| We, the members of SHIDOKAN Karate Club, asking the help of our |
| Almighty God, in order to defend the paths of truth, foster the spirit |
| of effort, to guard against impetuous courage, strive for the perfection of |
| character and to honor and respect all life upon understanding the spirit of |
| Karate-do ordain and promulgate this constitution. |

| Article I – OFFICIAL NAME |

| This organization shall be known as the De La Salle Lipa Shidokan following the |
| style of Okinawa Shorin Ryu (Kobayashi). |
| |

| Article II – OBJECTIVES |

| Section 1. |
To discipline the spirit, mind, and body to let go of selfish pride |
| |
|
in order to live a life centered on God. |
| Section 2. |
To incorporate Christian spirituality in Zen practices of Karate. |
