Article IV
THE OFFICERS and their RESPONSIBILITIES
SECTION I Chairperson
- The Chairperson officially represents the organization in school functions and other affairs participated in by the SOCIETY.
- He/She presides over the meeting and conferences
- He/She initiates the implementation of programs and plans as agreed upon and after the approval of the moderator.
- He/She monitors the over-all performance of the SOCIETY.
- He/She directly reports to the moderator in all undertakings of the SOCIETY.
- He/She assists the moderator in all the undertakings of the SOCIETY.
- He/She may initiate plans, activities or actions for the improvement of the organization and to adequately meet the needs of its members and coordinate with the moderator for approval.
- He/She may perform other functions as designed by the Moderator.
SECTION II Executive Vice-Chairperson
- The Vice Chairperson assumes the duties and functions of the Chairperson in case of the latter's absence, incapability or resignation.
- He/She assists the Vice Chairperson in all committee and organizational undertakings.
- He/She monitors the attendance of the members of the Executive Board, consisting of all officers, and those of the members of the SOCIETY during assemblies, meetings and activities.
- He/She may perform other functions as designated by the Chairperson of the Moderator.
SECTION III Vice-Chairperson for Membership Committee
- He/She is responsible for the Membership and Application matters.
- He/She coordinates with the Moderator in determining the students who are qualified for membership.
- He/She designs the application procedures upon the approval of the moderator.
- He/She has the power to recommend for suspension or expulsion of any member who violates the set regulation and duties.
- He/She has the power to recommend applicants for acceptance into the SOCIETY.
- He/She may perform other functions as designated by the Chairperson of the Moderator.
SECTION IV Vice-Chairperson for External Affairs Committee
- The VC for ExAfCom takes the responsibility to promote the SOCIETY to outside community.
- He/She initiates programs and projects that will benefit a certain group of people outside of the school community.
- He/She coordinated with the organization and institutions in order to promote the field of psychology to larger community.
- He/She is responsible for all external activities of the SOCIETY.
- He/She may perform other functions as designated by the Chairperson of the Moderator.
SECTION V Vice-Chairperson for Educational, Research and Academic Affairs Committee
- The VC for EdResAcadCom is responsible for the enrichment programs of the SOCIETY.
- He/She initiates programs and projects that will increase the members' awareness about the field of psychology.
- He/She initiates research related to the field.
- He/She gives an update about the field.
- He/She is responsible for all the academic activities within the institution.
- He/She may perform other functions as designated by the Chairperson of the Moderator.
SECTION VI Vice-Chairperson for Internal Affairs Committee
- The VC for Internal Affairs is responsible for the non-academic activities of the SOCIETY within the institution.
- He/She is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the bulletin board and other publications within the institution.
- He/She initiates programs and projects for the benefit of the members of the SOCIETY.
- He/She may perform other functions as designated by the Chairperson of the Moderator.
SECTION VII Vice Chairperson for Finance Committee
- The VC for FinCom is responsible for collecting, keeping, banking, budgeting and auditing the funds of the SOCIETY.
- He/She maintains a record of the income, funds, and expenses of the SOCIETY.
- He/She initiates fund raising project in order to keep the SOCIETY working towards its goals.
- He/She initiates the generation of funds through approved means.
- He/She keeps the bankbook of the SOCIETY.
- He/She may perform other functions as designated by the Chairperson of the Moderator.
