Article IV
THE OFFICERS and their RESPONSIBILITIES

SECTION I          Chairperson

  1. The Chairperson officially represents the organization in school functions and other affairs participated in by the SOCIETY.
  2. He/She presides over the meeting and conferences
  3. He/She initiates the implementation of programs and plans as agreed upon and after the approval of the moderator.
  4. He/She monitors the over-all performance of the SOCIETY.
  5. He/She directly reports to the moderator in all undertakings of the SOCIETY.
  6. He/She assists the moderator in all the undertakings of the SOCIETY.
  7. He/She may initiate plans, activities or actions for the improvement of the organization and to adequately meet the needs of its members and coordinate with the moderator for approval.
  8. He/She may perform other functions as designed by the Moderator.

 

SECTION II   Executive Vice-Chairperson

  1. The Vice Chairperson assumes the duties and functions of the Chairperson in case of the latter's absence, incapability or resignation.
  2. He/She assists the Vice Chairperson in all committee and organizational undertakings.
  3. He/She monitors the attendance of the members of the Executive Board, consisting of all officers, and those of the members of the SOCIETY during assemblies, meetings and activities.
  4. He/She may perform other functions as designated by the Chairperson of the Moderator.

 

SECTION III Vice-Chairperson for Membership Committee

  1. He/She is responsible for the Membership and Application matters.
  2. He/She coordinates with the Moderator in determining the students who are qualified for membership.
  3. He/She designs the application procedures upon the approval of the moderator.
  4. He/She has the power to recommend for suspension or expulsion of any member who violates the set regulation and duties.
  5. He/She has the power to recommend applicants for acceptance into the SOCIETY.
  6. He/She may perform other functions as designated by the Chairperson of the Moderator.

    SECTION IV Vice-Chairperson for External Affairs Committee

    1. The VC for ExAfCom takes the responsibility to promote the SOCIETY to outside community.
    2. He/She initiates programs and projects that will benefit a certain group of people outside of the school community.
    3. He/She coordinated with the organization and institutions in order to promote the field of psychology to larger community.
    4. He/She is responsible for all external activities of the SOCIETY.
    5. He/She may perform other functions as designated by the Chairperson of the Moderator.

     

    SECTION V   Vice-Chairperson for Educational, Research and Academic Affairs Committee

    1. The VC for EdResAcadCom is responsible for the enrichment programs of the SOCIETY.
    2. He/She initiates programs and projects that will increase the members' awareness about the field of psychology.
    3. He/She initiates research related to the field.
    4. He/She gives an update about the field.
    5. He/She is responsible for all the academic activities within the institution.
    6. He/She may perform other functions as designated by the Chairperson of the Moderator.

     

    SECTION VI Vice-Chairperson for Internal Affairs Committee

    1. The VC for Internal Affairs is responsible for the non-academic activities of the SOCIETY within the institution.
    2. He/She is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the bulletin board and other publications within the institution.
    3. He/She initiates programs and projects for the benefit of the members of the SOCIETY.
    4. He/She may perform other functions as designated by the Chairperson of the Moderator.

     

    SECTION VII                        Vice Chairperson for Finance Committee

    1. The VC for FinCom is responsible for collecting, keeping, banking, budgeting and auditing the funds of the SOCIETY.
    2. He/She maintains a record of the income, funds, and expenses of the SOCIETY.
    3. He/She initiates fund raising project in order to keep the SOCIETY working towards its goals.
    4. He/She initiates the generation of funds through approved means.
    5. He/She keeps the bankbook of the SOCIETY.
    6. He/She may perform other functions as designated by the Chairperson of the Moderator.
