- to promote the field of Psychology as embedded in the ebb and flow of everyday life
- to increase awareness about the field and its diversity
- to enhance the skills and capabilities of students
- to initiates activities geared towards understanding of self and others
- to conduct researches and studies that will be especially useful for solving micro-socio-political problem
- to address the needs and interests of students and professionals about the field
- to establish good and mature relationship between members of the society
