CONSTITUTION and BY LAWS

Article I - Name

Section 1.  This organization shall be known as the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) De La Salle Lipa Tertiary School Chapter.

Article II- General Provisions

Section 1.  JPIA is the organization of Accountancy students in De La Salle Lipa Tertiary School.

Section 2:  JPIA is a democratic, non-partisan and non-profit student organization.

Section 3.  JPIA is a member of the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (NFJPIA), the national organization of Accountancy students, the only legitimate student counterpart of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

Section 4.  Federation shall mean one school year.

Section 5.  Major positions in the organization shall mean any elective or appointive position either executive or otherwise in any organization of whose nature belongs to academic, socio-civic and cultural, athletic, mass communication, student government and environment.  These provisions shall make-up the Executive Board.

Section 6.  Majority shall mean fifty percent plus one of the assemblies.

Section 7.  There shall be a general assembly at least once in a federation year; the time and date of which shall be fixed by the Executive Board.
