Article VI I I
Duties and Responsibilities

Section 1. The Chairperson shall:

    • Lead the organization in carrying out its principles and objectives
    • Act as presiding officer in all official meetings of the organization
    • Represent the organization in meetings called by the Council of Student Organizations
    • Have the power to delegate authority
    • Perform other functions related to its position

 

 

Section 2. The Co-chairperson shall:

    • Assume the duties and function of the Chairperson in his/her absence, incapability, resignation, or removal from office
    • Have the power to delegate authority
    • Perform other functions related to its positions and other tasks which may be assigned by the Chairperson

Section 3. The Secretary shall:

    • Prepare and file minutes of the meeting of the organization
    • Keep all official documents of the organization
    • Give out notices of meetings or an equivalent notification to all members as the need arises
    • Perform other functions related to his/her position and other tasks which may be assigned by the Chairperson

Section 4. The Finance Manager shall:

    • Keep records of all funds, receipts, and disbursements of the organization
    • Prepare financial statements pertaining to the financial position of the organization
    • Report on the financial status of the organization to the general membership

Section 5. Board Members shall:

    • Represent his/her respective year level in every officers’ meeting
    • Carry out the opinions, comments, suggestions, or any concerns of his/her year level regarding the activities or decisions made within the organization and shall explain the consequences thereof
    • Keep and update records of official members of the organization in his/her respective year level
    • Furnish the secretary a copy of the aforementioned records
    • Perform other functions related to the position and other tasks which may be assigned by the Chairperson
