The ACTS is the official professional student organization of the Communication Department of the College of Education, Arts, and Sciences. It exists to provide support and exposure to communication students on the various communication fields through the different activities and projects it sponsors. The association was founded in the year 2001 with Mr. Eldrick Peņa serving as its first adviser. Today, the association continues to mature and develop into a community of strong-willed and responsible La Sallians living the La Sallian mission of teaching minds, touching hearts and transforming lives.

As the student arm of the AB Communication Department, it aims to:
1. To initiate innovative activities that will hone the talent, creativity and professional competence of Communication students.
2. To assist DLSL in realizing its mission and vision through active involvement in all school-sponsored activities where the help / participation of ACTS members will be tapped.
3. To foster unity and facilitate a working cooperation among members, between ACTS and other organizations and between ACTS and other student and professional organization outside DLSL.
